Privacy Policy

When you submit a request through this site, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number.
• Your state, and optionally your teen driver’s age and your current insurance carrier.
• Anything you type into the notes field. Please do not include Social Security numbers, driver license numbers, policy numbers, financial account details, or medical information — we do not need them and do not want them.
• Technical data submitted with the form: your IP address, browser user agent, and the date and time of submission, together with the consent language shown to you. We retain this as proof of consent.
• Separately from the form, we collect limited analytics on every visit, using both our own first-party measurement and Google Analytics. See the site analytics section below for exactly what that is.

We measure how the site is used so we can tell which guidance is useful. We do this two ways. The first is our own first-party measurement: for each page view we record the page, an approximate screen size, the country your request came from, the site that referred you, and a one-way hash derived from your network address and browser that is re-salted daily. This part sets no cookies, and the daily hash cannot be linked back to you or joined to a later visit.

The second is Google Analytics, a third-party service from Google that reports audience and traffic metrics, such as how many people visit and which pages they read. Google Analytics sets cookies to recognize returning visitors and processes your data — including your IP address, which Google Analytics automatically anonymizes — on Google’s systems under Google’s privacy policy. We do not enable Google’s cross-site advertising features, so your visit is used to measure this site’s audience, not to build an advertising profile or to serve you ads elsewhere.

• We record when a call or form button is clicked, and how far down a page readers get, so we can tell which pages answer the question and which do not.
• We keep server request logs, which include IP address, for security and troubleshooting, and to see which search and AI crawlers read the site.
• We do not use analytics data to build an advertising profile of you, and we do not sell it or share it with data brokers.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.

We use your information for one purpose: connecting you with a licensed independent insurance agent who can help with your teen driver coverage, and following up about that request.

We share it with the licensed agent or agency matched to your state. That agent becomes an independent controller of your information and handles it under their own privacy practices — we recommend asking them for their policy.

We also use service providers who process data on our behalf, including hosting and email delivery, under obligations to use it only for providing those services.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California and similar state privacy laws.

We do not send your information to multiple agencies to bid on it, and we do not resell it to unrelated marketers.

By submitting a request, you agree that we and the licensed agent we match you with may contact you at the phone number and email you provide about your insurance request, including by phone call and text message. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything.

You can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling the caller to stop contacting you, or emailing us. We will honor a revocation request through any reasonable channel, promptly, and we pass revocations to the agent we matched you with.

We retain lead records for as long as needed to service your request and to evidence consent, and then delete them on a scheduled basis. We keep consent records for the period required to demonstrate compliance with telemarketing law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to obtain a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share as those terms are defined, but you may still exercise the other rights.

This site is about teenage drivers, but it is written for and directed to parents and guardians. It is not directed to children, and the request form is intended only for adults aged 18 or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Please do not have your teen fill out the form on your behalf — we ask for the teen’s age, but we do not want their contact details. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored encrypted at rest, with access limited to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We will post any change to this policy here with a revised effective date. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be communicated more directly where we are able.
